"NEW ORLEANS" ON FIRST CD

"New Orleans", a song inspired by the Hurricane Katrina catastrophe, is included on Olin Smith's first CD, "Dream The Good Dream". Although Olin strives to be apolitical, sometimes events occur which become so monumental they beg for comment or interpretation. Such was the case when overwhelming human tragedy, along with thousands of gallons of water, swallowed this birthplace of Louis Armstrong. As these shocked New Orleans residents strive to put their lives (and great city) back together, let us never forget what happened there, and let us hope for vast improvements in the systems which failed them so miserably.

"DREAM THE GOOD DREAM" RELEASED

"Dream The Good Dream", the first CD by Olin Smith, was released mid-November, 2005. The culmination of a life-long ambition, "Dream" was a house recording literally birthed in Olin's living room. It is a self-produced CD, re-mastered and manufactured by DiscMakers (an excellent CD duplication business). "Dream The Good Dream" is available from CDBaby.com, or directly from Olin Smith at:
Olin Smith
P.O. Box 3104
Norman, OK 73070

Olin welcomes any comments. Please sign in on the Guest page to register your complaints/praise/general inquiries. Any and all thoughtful dialog is appreciated, but please keep it clean. Remember, small ears may be listening.
